[*] PRINTING STATUS UPDATE

Ok, MYth: My Seasons was my first time self-publishing and I didn't know any better, next, MYth: Eternal Gift gave me this problem but I was in the process of moving and had no time to deal with it... my sister insisted that it wasn't too much of a problem, but NOW!! now with MYth: A Promsie... I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE!

...I hate surprises!!!!
When I order a proof copy, I expect the bulk order would look the same since that's what a "proof copy" is for. You get what you see... buy the proof before spending hundreds on the bulk that may be printed wrong...

I got the proof copy that looked great, but now I got my bulk order and it looks NOTHING like the proof..O__O!!!
The paper became thinner, the ink looks washed out... I can't find "black" throughout the entire book...it's all "GRAY"...

I just opened a ticket with the customer service... hopefully this can get resolved in some way...
and I hope it could be done SOON!!

because I planned to ship out all your order beginning in March...
but I didn't expect this low quality printing... >___<

I am SO SORRY for this delay!!!
I will keep you updated with the printing issue.


3/4/11 Update

OK... customer support response:
"With regard to the quality of the materials used in the large order, you may have noticed that this order was produced at a different facility than your previous orders [...] Some of the factors that determine where and on what equipment your book will print are; book size, binding type, order quantity, page count, delivery destination, current order volume, etc. [...]there can be slight variations in printing and binding between orders. These slight variations are not considered workmanship or manufacturing defects."

First, I wouldn't have noticed...how would I know you print certain orders at different facility?! All I know is... I'm suppose to be able to count on my proof copy for the actual look and feel of the final printed product! You don't just change to cheaper paper on bulk order just because it's saving $$ for you!!!! and trust me...IT'S NOT A SLIGHT VARIATION!!! It may be for plain text books...but for my comic book..the thinner paper made a huge difference...TT__TT

I'm so upset right now and knowing placing another order with them won't make any difference... I decided not to deal with them anymore.

I'm going to start shipping the book to my buyers soon. But I feel really REALLY sorry for the quality.  I'm not sure how I could make it up to you...but I will figure it out and let you know.

"Is the special edition still available?" -- Special edition is prepared according to the number of pre-orders. If you pre-order by Feb. 14, you will get one for sure.

"I pre-ordered your book, can you include a sketch with the book?" -- The most I can do is signing the book. Sorry... >__<
